Beta Theta Pi is known for its singing roots, and its reputation as "The Singing Fraternity" still rings true today. Singing together is an ideal way to blend hearts and minds in common purpose. Many treasured and familiar songs found their way into the Fraternity ritual from the earliest times of our history. Today it is believed that no other fraternity gives as much prominence to singing at Initiation than does Beta Theta Pi.

Upon induction, each new member receives "The Singing Fraternity," a CD of more than 40 Fraternity songs. Undergraduate Beta quartets have formed at numerous chapters, and each summer there is a giant "Convention Chorus" that reminds us all of our musical heritage.

At John Carroll, our colony does indeed sing regularly in chapter meetings and ceremonies, as well as to the lovely ladies of our five campus sororities and other women on campus. We generally perform a mix of traditional Fraternity songs along with popular tunes, such as "All or Nothing" made famous by the boy band, O-Town.

To catch a glimpse of our performances, view some of the videos below.
