Campus Involvement

Not only are Betas known for being "Gentlemen, Leaders, and Scholars," but they are also widely known for their extensive involvement across campus and in the community - all this while they maintain a 3.29 cumulative GPA, the highest of all fraternities at Carroll. Our brothers are heavily involved in all aspects of student life - athletics, music, academic organizations, campus ministry, student government, and more.

They engage the world by studying abroad in London, Italy, Spain, and Ghana. They participate in immersion experiences to domestic locations like Immokalee, FL; Chicago, IL; Louisville, KY; New Orleans, LA; and New York City, NY; and to international destinations like the Dominican Republic, Guatemala, Ecuador, Honduras, and Mexico.

They give back to JCU by volunteering their time as lectors and eucharistic ministers in campus ministry, leaders of the Streak Week Advising & Transition (SWAT) Team, big brothers as part of the Seeds of Hope Mentorship Program, partners to the physically challenged as part of Project HOPE (Helping Others through Physical Exercise), buddies to youngsters participating in the Christmas season's "Through the Eyes of a Child" program, and guides to prospective students and their families as part of the university's Accepted Student Celebration each spring.

They proudly represent the Blue Streaks through their involvement in varsity tennis and track as well as club volleyball, not to mention the numerous intramurals in which our brothers participate.

They hold some of the most coveted leadership positions on campus as resident assistants, campus ministry retreat leaders and liturgical ministers, Student Union senators, SUPB executive board members, tour guides, teaching and lab assistants, and Relay For Life leadership team members.
