Why I Became a Beta: Beta’s “Men of Principle” Initiative really spoke to me. The Fraternity’s emphasis on learning, leadership, and service is a perfect fit for not only me, but for John Carroll as a whole. Beta is already changing the face of Greek Life on campus, and thus far has proven to be one of the best experiences of my life. Words don’t really do justice in trying to describe the absolutely phenomenal group of guys who I can call my brothers, all who truly model our motto - “Gentlemen, Leaders, Scholars.” Beta gave me the opportunity to surround myself with others who share the same values and ideals, and we all truly believe in making a difference – on our campus and in the greater community.
